Providing support and services for the health and wellbeing of women, girls and families for over 25 years
We have a proven track record in good partnership working and delivering commissioned public health and employability services evidenced by research and evaluation. But what we’re really proud of is being a truly local organisation that touches the lives of the women and girls we work with, and in turn has a positive impact on their families and the wider community.
Last year alone 932 clients attended 2,835 sessions here at the Women's Health Advice Centre, and we provided information and advice by phone and email in response to 5,074 enquiries. These services are free to clients, but that means we need to raise significant funds each year to provide them to the people we help.
Donations of any size are gratefully received from individuals and organisations; if you can help to support our work in any way please click the Local Giving button below, or call into the Centre in person if you’re in Ashington. It really will make a difference.
